BAUEN Design undertook a comprehensive 'concept to completion' package for the extensive redesign of a client's 1800s farmhouse nestled in the picturesque Grantham countryside.

The finalised design involved a doubling of the property's overall floor area, adding two bedrooms, an ensuite, and an open-plan ground floor living area via a thoughtfully crafted single, two-story side extension.

The extension was meticulously planned to harmonise with the existing dwelling, employing matching building materials, stone masonry techniques, and window head detailing. The result is a meticulously considered intervention imbued with layers of character, providing our client and their family with a home for the long term.

Our client opted for a comprehensive package encompassing pre-planning application, full planning application, building regulations package, on-site works including tender and interior design. The project is slated for completion in December 2023
