Bank Conversion
BAUEN Design was engaged to complete a Variation of Condition application as well as a building regulations package for a developer clients project for the conversion of a vacant former bank building.
The objective was to develop a set of drawings that aligned with a prior planning approval while thoroughly updating them to meet the specific requirements of the developer. Simultaneously, the aim was to secure building regulations approval for these modifications.

The project revolved around converting the existing ex-bank structure into three apartments while preserving the charming stonework arches and bay windows as a defining characteristic.
Our involvement spanned an initial site visit, a Variation of Condition application process, and the creation of a detailed building regulations package. To aid the design process, we conducted a comprehensive measured survey and utilised 3D modelling along with photorealistic visualisations.
